Users
Overview
This page allows you to view and manage the users within your organization, as well as create new user accounts when needed.
IoT Pro Platform - Users Page
You can also modify and assign asset permissions for yourself and other users.
To manage users, roles, and asset permissions, you must have administrator privileges.
Create a new User (ADMIN ONLY)
Step 1: Scroll to the Create New User Form
On the Users page, scroll down to locate the Create New User form.

Step 2: Fill in the Required Details
In the form, enter the following information:
Field | Description |
|---|---|
First Name | The user’s given name |
Last Name | The user’s family name |
User Email | The user’s valid email address (used for login & notifications) |
Access Level | Select the appropriate permission level for the user |
Country Code | The international dialing code (e.g., +1, +44, +356) |
Mobile Number | The user’s phone number (without country code) |
Organization | The name of the user’s organization or department |
Dashboard Permissions | Choose which dashboards or reports the user can access |

Step 3: Create the user
Once all fields are completed, click the Create User button at the bottom of the form.
An activation email will be sent to the Email address provided in the new user’s details.
You should see a confirmation message once the user has been successfully created.

⚠️ Account activation links expire after 24 hours. If the link expires, contact your administrator to generate a new activation email.
Edit a User (ADMIN ONLY)
Follow these steps to update a user’s information:
Step 1: Open the Edit Form
Click the pencil icon on the right side of the user’s row.

Step 2: Update User Details
Modify the user details as needed.

Step 3: Save your changes
Click the Save button at the bottom right of the form to confirm your changes.

Delete User (ADMIN ONLY)
Follow these steps to remove a user from the system:
Step 1: Click the Delete Button
Click the bin icon on the right side of the user’s row.

Step 2: Confirm delete
A confirmation prompt will appear. Click OK to permanently delete the user.
Deleting a user removes their access to the platform. Once deleted, the user cannot be recovered.
