Live Map & Site Map
Overview
The Live Map & Site Map are interactive features within the IoT Pro Platform that provide a geographic overview of all the assets you have permission to view.
It also displays key data from each asset, tailored to its application type, allowing you to quickly understand statuses and monitor performance at a glance.

You can quickly determine an asset’s status by the color of its icon on the map:
Green icon — The asset is online, operating normally, and has no alerts.
Red icon — The asset has an active alert.
To view alert details:
Click the asset icon on the map.
Open the Active Alarms section.
Grey icon — The asset is Inactive, meaning no data is currently being received.
By default, an asset is marked inactive after 6 hours without communication.
To change this timeout, refer to the Alerts Guide, specifically the Offline Alert section.
General Information
Each Asset on the map with have a Marker Icon assigned to it depending on the Asset Profile.

Upon clicking on a marker, A tooltip will appear which will allow you to view the details of the asset which varies based on the type of asset it is.
The tooltip that appears will look similarly to the example below:

The tooltip provides key information and quick actions for the selected asset, helping you monitor and manage it efficiently:
(1) Asset name
(2) Asset image
(3) Device ID
(4) Asset profile–specific details
(5) Active Alarms
Displays any active alerts based on the alert settings configured for the asset.
(6) Last Seen
Shows the most recent time the asset transmitted data.
(7) Links
Go to Dashboard
Opens the asset’s dedicated dashboard.
Set Alerts
Takes you to the Alerts page to configure notifications.
Edit Asset Details
Opens the Assets page where you can modify asset settings.
(8) Quick Action Buttons
Take Me There
Opens the asset’s location in Google Maps.
Share Location
Copies the device’s latitude and longitude so you can paste and share it where needed.
Filtering
The map allows you to filter and refine the assets displayed, making it easier to focus on what matters most.
This helps you quickly locate and monitor the information you need.
