IoT Pro Assemble and Disassemble Boards

What you’ll need

  • T10 screw driver

  • PH1 screw driver

  • SL1.8 screw driver

Removing the DC Power board

  1. Open the device as explained in Opening and Closing

  2. Disconnect the external supply (if present) from the DC Power board terminal block using the SL1.8 screw driver

  3. Disconnect the 3-pin LiPo connector on the DC Power board

  4. Disconnect the 5-pin harness from the DC Power board and from the Main board

  5. Loosen and remove four PH1 screws and remove the DC Power board from your device



Installing the DC Power board

  1. Open the device as explained in Opening and Closing

  2. Place the DC Power board on the corresponding mounts as shown and tighten the four PH1 screws to 0.1±0.05 Nm with a calibrated torque wrench


  3. Connect the 5-pin harness from the DC Power board to the Main board

  4. Connect the 3-pin LiPo connector on the DC Power Board

  5. Connect the external supply as explained in IoT Pro Powering Options using the SL1.8 screw driver

  6. Close the device as explained in Opening and Closing

Removing the GPIO board

  1. Open the device as explained in Opening and Closing

  2. Disconnect any wires (if present) from the GPIO terminal block using the SL1.8 screw driver

  3. Loosen and remove four PH1 screws and gently pull the GPIO board straight upwards as shown:


Installing the GPIO board

  1. Open the device as explained in Opening and Closing

  2. Align the GPIO board female connectors with the male headers as shown:


  3. Apply slight pressure to push the GPIO board towards the Main board until it is fully seated on the corresponding mounts

  4. Tighten the four PH1 screws to 0.1±0.05 Nm with a calibrated torque wrench

  5. Close the device as explained in Opening and Closing

Removing the Main board

  1. Open the device as explained in Opening and Closing

  2. Remove the GPIO board and the DC Power board (if present)

  3. Disconnect the UFL connector for the external antenna (if present) from the Main board (refer to IoT Pro External Antenna)

  4. Loosen and remove two PH1 screws and remove the Main board from your device


Installing the Main board

  1. Open the device as explained in Opening and Closing

  2. Place the Main board on the corresponding mounts as shown and tighten the two PH1 screws to 0.1±0.05 Nm with a calibrated torque wrench


  3. Connect the UFL connector for the external antenna (if present) on the Main board (refer to IoT Pro External Antenna)

  4. Install the GPIO board and DC Power board or battery

  5. Connect any wires (if present) from the GPIO terminal block using the SL1.8 screw driver

  6. Close the device as explained in Opening and Closing
