Bookmarking IoT Pro

1. PC / Laptop

1.1 Chrome

Follow these steps to bookmark the IoT Pro Platform in Google Chrome for easy access—on the Bookmarks Bar and as a Taskbar shortcut.

1.1.1 Bookmarks Bar Shortcut

Step 1: Click the Bookmark Icon

In the browser’s address bar, click the ⭐ star icon on the right side.

Step 2: Name the Bookmark

Enter a name for the bookmark and make sure to choose Bookmarks Bar.

Step 3: Save the Bookmark

Click Done to save it.

Your bookmark will now appear below the address bar or in your bookmarks list, allowing you to quickly open the IoT Pro Platform whenever needed.

1.1.2 Taskbar Shortcut

Step 1. Open the Browser Menu

Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of your browser.

Step 2: Select Create Shortcut

Select Cast, save, and share, then click Create Shortcut

Step 3: Name your Shortcut

Enter a name for the shortcut then click Create

Step 4: Finding your New Shortcut

A folder will open automatically showing the new shortcut. The shortcut will also appear on your Desktop.

Step 6: Pin the Shortcut

Drag the shortcut to your taskbar for easy access.

1.2 Microsoft Edge

Follow these steps to bookmark the IoT Pro Platform in Microsoft Edge for easy access—either on the Favourites Bar or as a Taskbar shortcut.

1.2.1 Favourites Bar Shortcut

Step 1: Click the Bookmark Icon

Click the Bookmark (⭐) icon in the browser.

Step 2: Name the Bookmark

Enter a name for the bookmark and Choose Favourites bar.

Step 3: Save the Bookmark

Click Done to save it. The bookmark will now appear in your Favorites tab.

1.2.2 Taskbar Shortcut

Step 1: Open the Browser Menu

Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of your browser.

Step 2: Pin To Taskbar

Select More Tools, then click Pin to Taskbar.

Step 3: Confirm Pinning

A confirmation prompt will appear. Click Yes to pin the website to your taskbar.

Step 5: Shortcut Created

The shortcut will now appear on your taskbar for quick access.

1.3 Safari (Mac)

Follow these steps to bookmark the IoT Pro Platform in Safari on your Mac device for easy access—either on the Bookmarks Bar or as a Dock shortcut.

1.3.1 Bookmark Bar Shortcut

Step 1: Add a Bookmark

In the top-left of the browser, open Bookmarks and select Add Bookmark….

Step 2: Name the Shortcut

Enter a name for the shortcut, then click Add.

Step 3: Enter Bookmark bar

In the top-left of the browser, open Bookmarks and select Show Bookmarks

Step 4: Find the Bookmark

Your bookmark will appear in the Bookmarks Bar, either under Recently Saved or in the Bookmarks list.

1.3.2 Dock Shortcut

Step 1: Click Add To Dock

Click the Share button in the top-right corner of the browser, then select Add to Dock.

Step 2: Save the Shortcut

Enter a name for the shortcut, then click Add.

Step 3: Find the Shortcut

The newly created shortcut will appear in the taskbar below.

2. Mobile / Tablet

2.1 Android

Follow these steps to bookmark the IoT Pro Platform on the Home Screen of your Android device for easy access

Step 1: Open the Browser Menu

Open the IoT Pro Platform in your mobile browser and tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.

Tap Add to Home Screen.

Step 3: Name the Shortcut

Enter a name for the shortcut (you can keep the default name or choose your own), then tap Add.

Step 4: Access from Your Home Screen

The shortcut will now appear on your phone’s home screen, allowing you to open the IoT Pro Platform quickly without needing to enter the website address.

2.2 iOS (iPhone / iPad)

Follow these steps to bookmark the IoT Pro Platform on the Home Screen of your iPhone or iPad for easy access

Step 1: Open the Browser Menu

Tap the three-dot menu located at the bottom-right corner of your screen.

Step 2: Open the Share Menu

Select Share from the available options.

Tap View More to display additional actions.

Step 4: Add to Home Screen

Select Add to Home Screen.

Step 5: Name the Shortcut
Edit the shortcut name if needed, then tap Add.

Step 6: Access from Your Home Screen

The shortcut will now appear on your home screen, allowing you to open the IoT Pro Platform quickly without needing to enter the website address.

Save Login Credentials

This guide will walk you through how to save your login credentials on your device for faster and easier logins.

Step 1: Close All Tabs and Your Browser

Close all open tabs, then fully close your browser.

Step 2: Open IoT Pro

Open the IoT Pro Platform using the shortcut you created in the Bookmarking IoT Pro guides above.

Step 3: Log In

Once you reach the login page, enter your username and password, then click Log In.

Step 4: Save Login Credentials Prompt

After logging in, a prompt will appear asking if you want to save your login credentials. The prompt may look slightly different depending on your device or browser.

Click Yes, Update, or Save to store your login details.

Step 5: Log Out

Open the three-dot menu in the top-right corner, then select Logout to sign out of your account.

Step 6: Confirm Auto-filled Login Credentials

After returning to the login page, check that your email and password are automatically filled in, confirming that your credentials have been saved successfully.
