Overview

This page allows you to create, edit, and delete assets based on your organization’s configuration, as defined by our team.

IoT Pro Platform - Assets Page

Each asset includes three action buttons:

• Service Log

  • Optionally add a service comment and record the service cost.

• Edit Asset

  • Update the asset’s details and configuration.

• Delete Asset

  • Remove the asset from the system.

Create a new Asset

Step 1: Scroll to the Create New Asset Form

Scroll down the page to locate the Create New Asset form.

Step 2: Input the Asset’s Details

Required fields include:

• Application Type

• Device

• Asset Name

• Location

• Power Type

• At least one image

• Any application-specific required Advanced fields

Providing these details ensures the asset is configured correctly and functions as expected.

Step 3: Create the Asset

Click the Create Asset button.

Once the asset has been created, a confirmation message will appear in the bottom-left corner of the screen, similar to the example shown below:

Edit an Asset’s Details

Follow these steps to update an asset’s information:

Step 1: Open the Edit Form

Click the pencil icon on the right side of the asset row.

Step 2: Edit Asset Details where Applicable

Modify any fields you wish to change, including advanced fields specific to the asset profile (if applicable).

Step 3:Save Your Changes

Click the Update button at the bottom right of the form to apply your changes.

Delete an Asset

Follow these steps to remove an asset from the system:

Step 1: Click the Delete Button

Click the delete icon on the right side of the asset row.

Step 2: Confirm delete

A confirmation prompt will appear. Click Ok to permanently delete the asset.
