Alerts

Overview

The Alerts section provides a comprehensive guide to all alerts available across the different asset types in the system.

Here, you will learn what each alert monitors, when notifications are triggered, and how alerts help you respond quickly to important events. Alerts are designed to keep you informed about conditions that may affect safety, performance, efficiency, or operational continuity.

Using alerts effectively helps you:

  • Detect issues early and prevent downtime

  • Protect equipment and stored goods

  • Improve operational efficiency

  • Maintain safety and compliance

  • Stay informed in real time

Use this guide to understand your alert options and configure notifications that best support your monitoring and operational needs.

Alert Parameters

Typical Alert Parameters

You may be asked to configure one or more of the following:

  • Over Threshold — triggers an alert when the value rises above a defined limit

  • Under Threshold — triggers an alert when the value falls below a defined limit

  • Delay Value & Unit — defines how long the condition must persist before the alert is triggered (minutes, hours, or days)

  • Time Window 1 — set a start and end time when the alert is active

  • Optional Time Window 2 — define a second active time period if needed

  • Active Days — choose which days the alert should be active (e.g., Monday–Sunday)

Common Settings Available for All Alerts

Important: WhatsApp, SMS, and Voice Call notifications are usage-based and subject to available credits. Once the allocated limit is reached, these notification methods will stop sending alerts until additional credits are added.

These options control how alerts behave and how users are notified:

Notifications

  • WhatsApp

  • SMS

  • Email

  • Voice Call

Alert Behavior

  • Active Alarm — enables or disables the alert

  • Notify on Clear — sends a notification when the alert condition returns to normal

These settings allow you to tailor alerts to operational schedules, reduce false alarms, and ensure the right people are notified at the right time.
