Alert Templates
Overview
Alert Templates allow you to save the current alert settings from an asset and apply them to multiple assets. This saves time, ensures consistency, and removes the need to manually configure the same settings for each device.
This section explains how the Alert Templates feature works and how it can simplify alert management.
To use this feature, scroll to the bottom of an asset’s Alerts page and locate the Save Template and Load Template buttons shown below.

1. Saving Templates
Use clear, descriptive names when saving templates (e.g., Cold Room High Temp Alerts) so they are easy to identify when applying them to other assets.
Saving templates allows you to store your current alert settings so they can be reused on other assets of the same type.
When you click the Save Template button, a pop-up window will appear (as shown below). Enter a name for the template, then click Save to store it for future use.

2. Loading Templates
Loading templates allows you to apply previously saved alert settings to the asset you are currently editing.
When you click the Load Template button, a pop-up window will appear (as shown below). This window includes a dropdown menu and a list of templates saved in the system.
After applying the template, remember to click the Save button at the bottom of the form to confirm and apply the changes.
